The Teaching of Christ Part Two

I was at work one day, soon after I was saved and was telling one of my best friends about Jesus and he cut me off and got mad.

I could relate with him because I use to be the same way. So I did not say any more and started working. At the time I was working at Winn Dixie. I had to go up on the roof and repair an a/c unit. As I was climbing up the ladder on the side of the building I felt like something was trying to pull me off the ladder. I grab the ladder even tighter and look around and saw nothing? I started back going up and again it felt like someone or something was trying to pull me off the ladder? When I made it to the roof, I had to sit down. I then starting praying to God for allowing me to make it to the roof.
To this day, I think it was Satan trying to throw me off. I believe that because later on that day my friend came back to me and said he was sorry for the way he acted, Right then my theory felt even more so. My friend later on was saved.

I think the lord moves in different ways with different people.
I felt like this was a near death experience because of the height and falling would have killed me. I knew then I needed to follow even closer to the Lord.

I started reading the book of JOB and anytime you think you have it bad and nothing is going right for you start reading about Job.

The teaching of Christ is very important in the every day life of the believer. You have to walk and talk with Christ everyday and stay in fellowship with Him and try to live the life he lived.

Isaiah 18-20
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

The Teaching of Christ

I was reading the Bible soon after I was saved one morning, and the Holy Spirit moved me to go to the Teachings of Jesus.

These can be found in several different Books of the Bible, but the ones I was led to are: Matthew 28.19 and 20. Jesus speaking in these two verses.

Verse 19.Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Verse 20.Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen

After reading these verses I knew God had a plan for me.I was still trying to figure that out?

I then was moved to go to Romans 12.4-7
Verse 4. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
Verse 5. So we, being many are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
Verse 6. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
Verse 7. Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering; or he that teacheth, on teaching.

Why am I being shown this threw the WORD of God?????
As a babe in Christ this was hard for me to understand. I would later understand but not at this time in my Journey.

As a child of God we all need to listen to what that voice we hear in our mine at times, this is the Holy Spirit speaking to the child of God.

After reading the above verses I want even more to understand what God was saying to me.

Soon there after I was asked to help out with the youth at our church.
I knew then the meaning of Philippians 4.13
Boy was that an experience, and another chapter in my Journey.
